Latest News:

February 2018: The Moses group has been lucky enough to host Nobel Laureate Prof K. Barry Sharpless and his wife, Mrs Jan Sharpless at the La Trobe Institute for Molecular Sciences. Professor Sharpless, along with Professor Sir David Lane gave a thought-provoking lecture on the “Click Chemistry” philosophy.  In addition to this Prof. Sharpless took part in an informal forum with all research students and post-doctoral fellows within the Department of Chemistry and Physics about his life and career with Mrs Sharpless who also provided her perspective.

It was a great privilege for us all to meet someone who shows such enthusiasm, passion and dedication to their work and for Prof. Sharpless to talk to all group members individually and share his insight into our own projects. We would all like to thank Prof. Sharpless and Mrs Sharpless for their visit and we hope to see them again soon.

June 2017: Congratulations to Prof. John E. Moses on receiving a future fellowship through the Australian Research Council.

March 2017: We have moved to La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. Based in the La Trobe Institute for Molecular Science.
